FELLOWSHIP MEALS ARE THE 1ST AND
3RD
SUNDAYS OF THE MONTH
Distinctive to Cottonwood Community Church are our Sunday fellowship
meals. Twice a month (except during the summer), after our worship
service, we serve a lunch. The meal is home-cooked and the
atmosphere is characterized by the joy of the Lord and the
friendliness of Christian community! We have devoted members who
plan and organize the meals and various ministries of the church
take turns helping to prepare, serve, and clean up afterwards. A
free-will offering is taken to help support the various ministries
of Cottonwood, but the emphasis is on fellowship, not finances.
These meals are great times to become better acquainted with each
other – and save you from having to cook Sunday at home! We hope you
can join us!
So
continuing daily with one accord … they ate their food with gladness
and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the
people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being
saved.
